Peru is fantastic, you have beach, mountains and the amazon. So start with Lima and enjoy the great peruvian food, it's the best you can find in Latin America. One of the best restaurants in the world are actually in Lima, try to get reservation in Virgilio Martinez "Central". Then visit Cusco and Machu Picchu or try to make the Inca Trail (3 day hike). A must imho is taking the Bus from Cusco to Puno to Lake Titicaca, visit the Uros People on their swimming islands.
BTC is not much of a thing yet in Peru, there are a few BTC ATMs in Lima though. I didn't find any merchant latetly that accepted it. This is probably because Peru has a pretty stable fiat currency PEN (Nuevo Sol) and inflation is similar to ours. Cards are accepted almost everywhere, of course always have cash as taxi drivers and the merchants on the street and markets want cash unless you book an Uber to get around in Lima! Euros and Dollars are also accepted if you run out of local currency cash.
You know what the crazy thing is? I drove from Berlin on the A9 towards Nuremberg at the weekend, one wind farm after the other along the highway. Although there was no calm, it felt like only half of them were spinning (I guess to avoid overloading the grid). The other half could be used for mining and I don't understand why the wind farm lobby doesn't get involved and build a bitcoin mining industry.

Yes. Love the FF multi-account containers for all the tabs where you need to be logged in to a service (cookies). For everything else, I use the mullvad browser (no extensions) which is browser-fingerprinting resistant.

Desktop:
1.) Use Mullvad Browser with no extensions and don't login to any service.
2.) Use FireFox with Multi Container Extension, ublock and sandbox your sessions with separate containers where a cookie is needed. (Otherwise use Mullvad Browser, see 1.)
3.) Use a VPN with a DNS that blocks all ad and tracking domains
4.) use Torbrowser when possible.

5.) Use a clean VM with no browsing history, snapshot it. After your're done, restore to clean the snapshot to wipe all browsing history. Or just use Tails OS or Whonix.
