How do device ids work?
Can device ids break privacy?
Like using an account on a device, that has a lot of collected data. Then if you start to use new accounts, but they read your device data, they can connect them?

(Btw it wasn't a simple convert tool to use. There are many that does not provide you the correct translation. So it was harder than it seems.)
Probably because coffee is an unlicensed money tranfer business.

🤙
You mean more complex ones?
Sure! 🫂 Just to let you know, the ecash was already taken.
What if nostr apps would be just micro apps shipped bundled together?

Who would be interested in a 2nd #puzzle for bitcoin ecash?

Last puzzle:
Also this could be an interesting POV, because if apps start to close, and not allow their users to communicate with other app's users, it could send a message. It could seem like they are reducing freedom, and reducing socialization.
Maybe nostr could be the "glue"?
Stupid idea: we could make nostr as the social layer where you can share anything and everything.
We have images, videos, sound and text as communication forms. All of the were used already somehow in one social media app.
But maybe it is not about the social media and form of the content. But about bringing people together from eqch social media. So they are not only part of their own echo chamber, but they can freely interact with other on other sites.
Not sure the how, but how stupid is it?
I guess we need something fun you would use/share with friends. Like the "easy filters" that instagram added in the beginning for creating photos.
Everyday we learn something new! 🤙 I plan to make more of these puzzles, kind of fun to learn about things to make into a puzzle.
An unlicensed one, like my physical wallet 😂😂😂
It had me stumped for a while, trying to find the correct braille translator.
I got the lower case first, which lead to the cashu* clue, then the upper case, and finally the numbers, which lead me to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Gardner%E2%80%93Salinas_braille_codes
I was cursing not having my laptop with me, do I had to do it all on my phone.
Great job! Great perseverance!
Yes, GS8 was the trick. Funnily, cashu tokens can only be encoded with this. The others somehow do not create consistent redeemable results.
Damn, you solved it??? Congrats! 🎉🎉
Can we make better incentives?
As this is kind of a catch 22 problem, that:
Content creators are not coming because people are not here. People are not coming because creators are not coming.
We might need an incentive for a certain group of people, who will be the incentive to the next group of people.
It does not matter to have bad onboarding if they have no reason to come or stay.
I think the "honeymoon phase" started to wear off, and if you don't see the result you expect, you can get discouraged I think. Just my 5 cents.
Also I guess we are not supporting each other enough to make it worth it???
I chose to reply to the same comment, I already replied to btw. If this is what you meant.
Or I am broken. Never underestimate human stupidity 😂
in theory, custodial btc should cost the same to transact in as any fiat solution.
if nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m decided to let ppl choose to use/accept bitcoin via square tomorrow- would ppl use bitcoin as money?
I am not sure about the first statement.
Generally card payments are closed systems, therefore quite hard to get in. This prevents high competition in my opinion. Therefore they can set their prices high. This is harder to achieve on an open protocol.
I would use this to explain why there is quite limited number of known card payment companies.
For the question, another question: Do you think people generally understand bitcoin?
