I build protocol-driven infrastructure for local resilience—tools, spaces, and funding rails that let communities run their own culture, news, food, and money. Old school: ryan@stateless.id

It always seems outside the narrative that these processes have their own momentum and are not controlled by a central autocrat.

Great for the imagination. Such a fun age that feels like it lasts about 2 weeks in retrospective

So glad I bailed on that conference. Technical conference only for me going forward. In the end it became a stereotype of what critics say about the space. Too much grifter vibe. Looking at that chart it confirms it. Those posters asking 60k for a photo define it now not stuff like open source stage.

detour away from the bitcoin magazine show this week. updated git repo, and touch slot canyons

builders build. stay focused

I love that I was noding along with you assuming you were talking about the mining pool. I mean. Yeah. The ocean too.

El Salvador is on my list. Now I have a time of year. :)

Totally agree. I found out about public/private keys and thought the internet was about to level up. I was just super fringe and wish thinking. Nostr and btc create incentive to care. Just happy it is happening at all. Your note couldn't have said it more simply but spot on.

I canceled my trip out. Would have if regardless of party. They need us. They affinity scam us. Fuck those that wanna be doormats for it. Build build build

Been a pgp user since 1998. I have worked in security for most of 30 years. I have collected and encrypted emails with less than 45 people in that time professionally. Nostr is the right use at the right time
