That's the biggest question in my mind as well: what does the rest of the financial world look like at that point? Is bread $1000/loaf? Do dollars even exist?

Yeah I get that nobody *knows*; I'm just trying to get an idea of what other people think, hopefully from a bit more level-headed perspective. I calculated (in fiat terms) the value of N stack by when I want to retire, based on historically low returns of 100%/year [N*(2^Y)]... Very doable, and staggering, to the point that I need somebody to proverbially splash some cold water on me.

Does anyone have any ideas regarding whether #bitcoin will continue to produce 100-150% averaged yearly returns in the medium term?

On the one hand, I get the smaller downs, smaller ups argumentation.

On the other hand, it's almost exclusively been autists, nerds, and libertarians who have supplied buying pressure up until very recently, and now we're knocking on the door of its being "part of a well-balanced portfolio" for hedge funds, pensions, nations, and large cap multinational corporations, etc.

This will bring a tsunami of capital this asset has never dreamed of.

Possibly the best thing about "AI" is that it's destroying the government education system.

(This isn't a free pass... Be better.)

When the church gave over marriage to be controlled by the state, it resulted in ~50% of marriages ending in divorce.

When the church gave over charity to the government, it resulted in FEMA blocking neighbors from helping each other after losing everything.

When the family gave over taking care of grandma and grandpa, it resulted in the biggest Ponsi scheme the world has ever seen.

Having an opinion doesn't make you a bad guy, obviously. Everybody has opinions.
