lol that’s the second tech billi I’ve seen “on here” today - instant mute 🤣 not sorry

Hey don’t come for me unless you’re ready for me to start pronouncing Carnivore like Karenivore just to piss ya off! 🤣

I love a good meme smuggler 🫡 you’re doing the lords work

GM #Nostr 🌞☕️ Tell me something that you secretly really like about yourself.

I’ll go first. I secretly like my ability to match colors. I get a ton of satisfaction when I buy a new accessory that matches something I already own. Weird flex, I know.

Your turn.

I love that for you all! I am doing some farming myself - but farther south in TN. I buy bouquets from one of my neighbors at the farmers market. She grows amazing cut flowers. It’s one of my absolute favorite little luxuries. Can’t wait to see what all blooms for you! 💜

I’m a big fan of endless summer hydrangeas for blues because they’re pretty easy to get there with some used coffee grounds. I’ve never seen a truly blue dahlia but I’ve seen purple ones

I suppose they’re technically GMOs but yes they are brand new to the florist scene out of Japan. He said they have a SKY BLUE rose 😳 but it’s still too fragile for resale

Floral nerd alert 🚨💐🪻 Today I attended a #floraldesign presentation with J Schwanke from “Life In Bloom” on PBS.

YALL. Look at these chrysanthemums, carnations, and roses… they are NOT DYED! They’ve been genetically developed in Japan based on the genes that make delphinium, violets, and hyacinths blue/purple.

If you’ve never been a #florist, then you might not understand the significance of these blue and violet colors, but when I tell you I gasped! He passed them around for us to see up close and they were just stunning. 🤩

We’re entering the Age of Aquarius. The truth will not stay hidden. It will set us free.

Yes like a calendar entry and even a geotag for radius filtering? I’m gonna dig into Seeker and Flockstr and see how they’re doing it 😎 there’s a little app called Farmish that I love that puts their listings on a map. That would be a cool idea for social gatherings too.

This seems like something that could have a common language and/or note type for filtering… maybe I’m overthinking it?

nostr:npub1arkn0xxxll4llgy9qxkrncn3vc4l69s0dz8ef3zadykcwe7ax3dqrrh43w Yondar could implement this as well?

I'm sure nostr:npub1jlrs53pkdfjnts29kveljul2sm0actt6n8dxrrzqcersttvcuv3qdjynqn is working on this as well, especially regarding local groups / communities.

Thank you! 🙏

Ok serious question for #AskNostr - anybody working on a feature set like fb-events (but way better)? People need to be able to connect and organize happenings IRL in their local area.
