Been doing a lot of studying on archetypes for a new series Iβm working on. Did you know the inverse of the Grifter is the Gentleman Thief?
The Grifter seeks to manipulate and leverage the rules and other players to set themselves up to win at the expense of others.
The Gentleman Thief plays both inside and outside the rules that the Grifter is leveraging, based mostly on which rules are fair or not, to win for the benefit of others or the greater good.
The Gentleman Thief beats the Grifter by comically subverting any unjust rules while strictly adhering to just rules and virtues, which endears him to other players and makes him a menace to the Grifter who is trying to control the game for his own interest.
Anyway it reminded me of #bitcoin and #nostr versus the grifters.

He gets these little fatty tumors that burst sometimes and bleed. I am wondering if maybe there was one in his nose. We are going to take him to get checked out π
Just gotta brag on my husband for going into hero mode this morning when he realized what was going on with our dog and how worried and overwhelmed I was. He called in late to work so he could stay and help me mop the floors and take the kiddo to school. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear coveralls. π©·

Sheesh. Boxer-dog woke me up at 3:30am with a nosebleed. Iβve never even seen a dog have a nosebleed, but let me tell you itβs terrible. π£
