Has anyone developed a fog computing-based AI solution yet? I'm surprised that nobody has come up with the idea of having computers share resources to run an LLM.

This whole online ID thing just shows how easy it is to rebrand all this Great Reset shit to appeal to conservatives.

I've even seen Jeremy Kauffman openly defend Palantir, which I find disgusting.

The only sites that were worthwhile were vch (/v/ bunker), julay (had a bunch of boards), zzzchan, and 8chan.moe (was on there until everyone else blocked it for hosting /hebe/). After Julay shut down, most people either went to 8chan.moe, 8kun, or gave up on imageboards entirely.

There is one simple thing that can bring back factories in this country that doesn't involve high tariffs yet nobody wants to hear it.

So I've just read Ask Iwata, a book by Shigisato Itoi which has a collection of essays that Iwata made about his life and work ethic he made on Itoi's website (basically a posthumous autobiography) along with interviews with Miyamoto and Itoi about him and how he was different from other CEOs.

It was rather interesting. It seems like Iwata was truly different from other CEOs, but I guess that's mostly because Japan probably doesn't have an equivalent to the Ford vs Dodge ruling that puts shareholders as the top priority. That's why I compare him to Gabe Newell in that sense.

There were also some other interesting facts like how Iwata was inspired by Itoi marketing the Mother series for kids and adults which is why the Wii was heavily advertised as a family console.

However the one thing that resonated with me is one part when one Nintendo employee (can't remember which one) was talking about him. He said that he was nicknamed "Kirby" and that's because people will leave out boxes of candy and other junkfood for him and he will gobble all of it. No wonder he died from cancer at 55. Semi-related, but I've also heard that Masahiro Sakurai does not like the taste of water for some reason and he is a huge Diet Coke addict to the point that Nintendo leaves a mini-fridge of Diet Coke for him every time he directs a new Smash game.

Moral of the story: take pride in your work and enjoy your success, but please take care of your health.

It looks like ThinkPenguin launched a new proxy service that allows you to buy almost any physical goods from any clearnet shop anonymously.

Given that actual retards will fall for this and they already have, I'll bite:

Ayn Rand never called herself a libertarian. She actually opposed the term because she saw it as "right-wing anarchism" (this even includes night-watchman state libertarianism). Her philosophy was called "Objectivism" which was a major influence on right-libertarianism, but is ultimately a separate ideology.

Libertarianism is the idea that all (or at least most) forms of human association should be voluntary. Objectivism is the philosophy that one should only work within one's own self-interest. These may sound like similar concepts at a first glance, but they are not.

Objectivists think that donating to private charity is immoral unless you get something out of it because otherwise you would be bringing yourself down. Meanwhile, libertarians don't see anything wrong with it as long as it's not done through force. This isn't also getting into other differences such as their stances on intellectual property.

I see both leftists and third-positionists strawman libertarianism and individualism by referencing her quotes, yet both Mises and Rothbard thought she was crazy.

I feel like my game is more or less complete. I just need to replace some of the sounds from BS Zelda with stock assets or sound effects of my own, as well as finally giving the main character an original sprite, and including item fanfares along with a sound effect when the player dies (it needs to be in-sync with the death animation).

Other than that. I really don't know if there is anything to add, outside of bug fixes, and maybe some balancing.

It feels like this game could've been on YoYoGames if it was made in GameMaker back in the late 2000s.

It would be extremely dirt cheap like a dollar, but the game being open-source means that you could get it for free elsewhere. But I don't know if the game is even worth a dollar, even if paying is optional.

I mean, I learned design patterns among other things during college, but I feel like I should be making my dream game now.

It was mostly the "Mastodon side" posting "Superb Owl" posts. Given that it is that side doing it, I was wondering if it was out of hate for Elon Musk.

I just need to accept that the game I'm currently working on will be heavily flawed. There will be balancing issues. People will most likely find exploits. I may have been programming games for over a decade, but I never had the time to actually work on something this big and be close to finishing it.

Is this Superb Owl meme supposed to be for those who don't care about sports or is it leftists boycotting the even due to some Elon Musk commercial?

If someone doesn't like it, tell them to reverse engineer it (assuming the source code isn't available) and rewrite it.

Language/engine wars are dumb. Just make your game and stop caring about what others think.
