A convenient side effect for them I think. Their main goal seems to be to destabilize the country, a formula that has been in testing in many countries throughout the world. Destabilization = fear. Government learned well from Covid that fear = easier assimilation of power.
Just be careful with new construction here. They’re starting to mimic São Paulo building patterns. Using cheap materials with fancy premium design to maximize profit. The duplexes and older apartments often have higher quality materials (solid wood vs MDF, etc).
