My house is being tented for termites, I have no chores. My family & dog went away for the weekend.

I'm alone.

no chores, no kids yelling, first time in a decade I have no responsibilities.

Last night I ate sushi. Drank a 1/4 bottle of tequila. watched two action movies. Stayed up till 1am fking around on my phone. Haven't spoken a word in 16 hours.

Slept in. Made coffee.

Going to the gym. Then a beer festival.

Is it just me or are pants pockets the worst design ever?

Sit down anywhere, squat to pick up Rad, my phone launches out of my damn pocket. I have ONE pair of shorts out of all that I own, that has the pocket itself extend behind the opening barely half an inch and it’s enough to catch my phone.

Seriously considering throwing away every pair of pants/shorts I have and buying all new based solely on the design of the pockets.

I’m done complaining today. The upside is that my phone is apparently invincible. 😆

Oh absolutely, just thinking out loud here, trying to consider different possibilities and just raise the question about it, so we can understand how we see things here as a community, and what’s the more common feeling and understanding about the topic.

And yeah, agreed, the image description thing is too easily abusable, and would only work in a perfect world 💜

I think I’m thinking more towards something similar to the ability to mute hashtags 🤔

It wouldn’t completely cut it out for the user, but it would definitely decrease the amount of it 💜

And have it more indexed, like subreddits on Reddit?

I’ve always looked at Global as the ‘city center’ of Nostr in terms of the communication aspect.

That just makes it a 50/50 coinflip game, as a lot of the NSFW content is posted without context.

Maybe image description could fix this?
