Sunny days in the next couple of weeks. 🌞 Praying I don't have to travel for work any time soon.

I was playing some Black Myth Wukong and having a boss fight when my kid walked in and wanted to watch.

I failed to beat the boss and called it quits. He didn’t want to stop so we took the “fight” outside. I was the big fat boss and he was the monkey fighter. Then my 4 yo saw us pretend fighting and joined in. From there on, 2 champions attacked the boss furiously until he was downed. Then downed again. And again. Multiple times. The champs or… chimps? 🤔 🤣 got a bit too serious and kicked the boss on the ground. There will be bruises.

That was that. Now they’re waiting for food 🍱. Must recharge for tomorrow’s battle. Boss might stay in bed longer 😆

How to tell if something is probably bullshit:

1. Sounds really far fetched and complex (opposite of Occam’s razor)

2. Storyteller makes themselves a victim. “They’re after me” and “I’m in danger”

3. Stories of things happening to others around them but not really to them (how convenient)

4. Only hearsay “evidence”. Never anything concrete

5. Profit / fame motive

6. Incoherent “proof” while showing something unrelated to this proof. Attempt to mislead.

7. No formal training or experience or education. “I know I’m right even though I’m not an expert at anything”

8. Attention seeking.

9. Predisposition to easy manipulation or eagerness to believe things without digging into the facts.

10. Ability to tell great stories the lack evidence.

11. Attacking critics instead of rebutting their arguments. Getting emotional when looking at counterpoints data.
