So I just got DEBANKED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE 🥲

They asked me to re-KYC my account, after using it for 3yrs.

Then 2hrs later, they send me THIS email.

"Sorry we can't give you banking services, and we can't tell you why."

Husband sent money there to pay our rent, and now they're telling me they can't send the money to my Brazilian account (even though I've been doing that for months).

So no account AND they're holding the money hostage 🤡

Thank GOD my savings are in Bitcoin.

Unlike exponential growth that grows in an unsustainable way like cancer for example, the Power Law is kind of explosive, yet sustainable and organic.

Look at the graph above again. The Power Law perfectly sits where it’s supposed to. Even if 30K-380K looks like a lot, it’s very narrow if you consider 0.006-74.000 (How many % is the delta?).

It is undeniable that the hype bubbles are unnatural, that’s why the price drops back to the mean. TOP : mania 💀. Bottom: global adoption 🧘‍♂️

My concern with the power law is its broad range. It’s like saying, "We know the price will be between $100 and $1,000,000 within the next 1000 years," which is obviously an exaggeration, but it highlights the issue.

Another aspect I want to explore is whether the power law applies to currencies other than the US dollar. If it doesn’t hold true in other currencies, then there’s no reason to assume it should in US dollars either. And if the power law once worked in another currency but then broke down, it suggests that it could also fail in the US dollar.

I’m not trying to dismiss the power law. To be honest, for a while, it brought me a lot of excitement. No matter what model you consider, the trend always seems to point up and to the right.
