I had to abandon a parallel parking attempt on a busy street just now as I was holding up traffic. I’ll send my man card to the penalty box for the rest of the day. #fail

My oldest son, 10, is an old soul…or maybe based is the new term for that. He stayed in bed sick today, and the only things he asked to do were read his hunting and fishing novels, play gin rummy, and watch The Andy Griffith Show.

I like your analogy better. It is easy to identify with the wrong character when reading the Bible.

I want to be David and conquer Goliath; but I’m really the scared, helpless Israelite.

It feels like DOGE is God and the Federal Government is Sodom and Gomorrah. This is how that story ended:

“Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens.”

#asknostr With most expecting a Bitcoin bull run in 2025, is there an IRS rule that would prevent me from the following:

1. Withhold zero dollars on all pay checks.

2. Not pay taxes quarterly (as I have been doing the last 5 years).

3. File an extension for both 2024 and 2025 tax returns.

4. Instead, buy and HODL Bitcoin with all cash that from the above listed actions.

5. When the time comes, sell what’s needed of the Bitcoin to make the 2024 and 2025 tax payments when they are ultimately due.

Has anyone else done this in the past? Any thoughts or cautionary tales? #bitcoin #taxes #cpa #irs

How do I ask the nostropoly a question that gets viewed beyond my handful of followers? Do I hashtag the topic? I have a #tax question for a #cpa who understands #bitcoin.

Tuesday is (raw) milk delivery day. It is so much better than store bought, pasteurized (the product formerly known as) milk that it doesn’t seem appropriate to even consider them the same thing.

Go for a run (or whatever physical movement you prefer). Even if it doesn’t 180 your day, you will feel good that you accomplished something.

When I think about the appropriate allocation to Bitcoin, I have conflicting thoughts.

It feels like I am the only student in the class who has been given the answer key to an important test. If I know the solutions to the problems, why wouldn’t I answer 100% of the questions correctly. However, it feels wrong/risky/unfair/too easy.

Anyone else wrestling with this?

Tonight is the annual WNTRTBOI (We need to raise tuition because inflation) Meeting at the local Classical Christian Private School.

Owning Bitcoin always makes this news easier to stomach, but I feel bad for the other families here that don’t understand Bitcoin.

The BTC/mNAV (miles on my nearly ancient vehicle) has risen to 0.51. Once we hit a ratio of 1.00, I’ll consider a new truck.
