The Human Brain And It's Ability To Time-Travel

In this article, we review neuroscientific evidence for the continuity of mental time travel into the past and future.

We go on to suggest that human language may have evolved primarily for the communication of episodes, whether from the past or the future. We conclude with some speculation as to when and why mental time travel evolved in hominin evolution.

Episodic memory shares a core neural network with the simulation of future episodes, enabling mental time travel into both the past and the future.

The evolution of the capacity to simulate possible future events, based on episodic memory, enhanced fitness by enabling action in preparation of different possible scenarios that increased present or future survival and reproduction chances.

Human language may have evolved in the first instance for the sharing of past and planned future events, and, indeed, fictional ones, further enhancing fitness in social settings.

Proof Of A Holographic Universe Using GEO600 (Gravitational Wave Detector)

Craig Hogan, a physicist at Fermilab Centre for Particle Astrophysics in Illinois is convinced that he has found proof in the data of the gravitational wave detector GEO600 of a holographic Universe.

GEO600 is a joint project of scientists of the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute, or AEI), Leibniz Universität Hannover, Cardiff University, the University of Glasgow and the University of Birmingham. It is funded jointly by the Max Planck Society in Germany and the Science and Technology Facilities Council in UK.

Sleep Tourism Will Be One Of 2025’S Biggest Travel Trends

Psychotherapist Heather Darwall-Smith, who specializes in sleep therapy, says, “At its core, sleep tourism speaks to desire for rest in an overstimulated world.

We’re looking for a need to escape from the relentless demands of modern life.

Our brains and bodies are often in a chronic state of stress, juggling multiple roles and responsibilities without sufficient downtime for recovery.”

Forget traveling to expand your horizon — sleep tourism is the travel trend for those prioritizing rest and relaxation.

Dr Chelsea Perry, “The rise in sleep tourism is largely due to increasing stress and a growing awareness of how essential sleep is for health.

After years of juggling busy schedules and digital overload, people are actively seeking ways to prioritize rest.”

US Dollar Hits Four-Decade Low!!!! (Current Bitcoin Price: $97,227.94 0.85% 🍾🤩😎🎉🎊)

Probably Nothing!! Go Back To Sleep😹😂🤣

So far in 2025, the dollar has slid more than 8% against a basket of major currencies—the worst start to a year in the ICE U.S. Dollar Index’s four-decade history!!!

The index is flashing red, not just from macroeconomic drift, but from something more structural: a deliberate policy path that raises real concerns about the dollar’s global role.

A weakening dollar also puts foreign central banks in a bind. It inflates their currencies, damages their export competitiveness, and forces them to contemplate premature rate cuts.

We are in uncharted territory where the traditional “flight to quality” reflex—strong dollar, falling U.S. yields—is failing to materialize. And further, global investors may feel less inclined to automatically choose the U.S. as their refuge.

Germ-Killing Brands Now Want To Sell You "Good Germs" AKA Probacterials

David Whitlock, the pioneer of this concept has raised almost $100 million.

As we learn more about the relationship between the microbiome and our health, some scientists and journalists have begun weaning themselves from cosmetic products like soap and shampoo. In taking away the bad bacteria, we could be losing too much of the good.

The world’s best-known antibacterial labels are pouring millions into probacterial health and beauty startups.

The company’s message fits well with a growing body of research into the human microbiome showing that some bacteria are not only good but also vital.

Microbial imbalances play a role in many conditions, including allergies, autism, cancer, depression, irritable bowel syndrome, and obesity.

Also, probiotics and prebiotics—which refer, respectively, to beneficial live microbes and the ingredients that promote their growth—are a new frontier in health and beauty.

From 2015 to 2016, equity funding for companies invested in the so-called microbiome jumped from $173 million to $728 million, according to CB Insights, a company that tracks the tech market. Last year the figure rose to $939 million.

Unilever Ventures Ltd., the conglomerate’s investment arm, took a minority stake in Gallinée, a tiny London-based startup whose slogan is “Happy skin needs happy bacteria.”

AOBiome’s cosmetics branch, Mother Dirt, already counts tens of thousands of customers for its products, including the spray Whitlock developed from his bacterial elixir; they’re sold online, at natural beauty and food retailers, at Whole Foods Market stores in the U.K., and, starting in June, in the U.S.

The NATO Country With No Military Gets Serious About Defense

“There is never been public support in Iceland for a military, and I don’t think there will be in the foreseeable future,” said Prime Minister Kristrun Frostadottir, who at 36 years old is among the world’s youngest national leaders, who took office in late December.

The country of fewer than 400,000 people is an anomaly. A founding member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, it has no standing military.

Though rooted in Europe, it isn’t part of the European Union.

Traditionally a fishing island, it has become a tech hub thanks to bountiful geothermal and hydroelectric power.

Iceland has also long made itself useful to U.S. and NATO defensive efforts—something administration officials say hasn’t happened in Greenland, whose defenses Denmark controls.

Their location in the icy waters between Greenland and Norway offered NATO a base during the Cold War from which to monitor Soviet naval traffic.

Norway Is On A 100-Day Mission To Test Military Limits In The Arctic

There is also a growing sense that the Arctic could be a forum for future conflict. Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Finland and Sweden have joined NATO.

In recent years, Russia conducted a major military exercise north of Siberia, NATO focused part of its largest military exercise since the Cold War on the Arctic, and China’s Coast Guard entered the Arctic Ocean for the first time, patrolling alongside Russian ships.

President Donald Trump brought more focus to region with a pledge to acquire Greenland, describing ownership of the territory as a “necessity” for national security.

Climate change is likely to magnify many of the challenges associated with Arctic combat.

The region is warming much faster than the rest of the planet, which will alleviate some of the cold but also creates unpredictable conditions.

How Natural “Short Sleepers” Thrive On 4 Hours Of Sleep Per Night Thanks To A Gene Mutation

Could We All Attain This Superpower?

By targeting these genes with drugs or gene therapies, we all could become more efficient sleepers.

Maybe 1% to 3% of the population at most, sleep is little more than an afterthought, even an impediment. These “natural short sleepers,” as they are commonly called, need just four to six hours a night to wake up fully rested.

The DEC2 Gene Allows People To Get By With As Little As (4hrs.) Sleep 🛌😴💤

This is probably every over-achiever’s dream!

The real question is whether or not everyone will have their genes modified to mimic the DEC2?

When Brainwashing Is Good For You!!

Drs. Rhonda Patrick and Jari Laukkanen describe the beneficial health effects of sauna use for waste removal of beta-amyloid.

Typically, sleep is associated as a mechanism for allowing the brain to remove toxins from the brain such as beta-amyloid — the protein associated with Alzheimer’s disease.

Excerpt From Rhonda Patrick's Discussion On The Topic:

Rhonda: So you found that sauna use is associated with lower Alzheimer's disease and dementia? That is extremely interesting to me because, you know, of my interest in heat shock proteins and how they're activated via sauna use.

So when you heat-stress the body, what happens is that you activate a signaling pathway called heat shock proteins.

There's been many, many studies, associated studies looking at heat shock proteins and neurodegenerative diseases. So there is a lot of interest in how heat shock proteins may be a therapeutic target for preventing neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and also Parkinson's disease.

In the near future neurologists hope that detecting and removing amyloid before it has time to cause damage will provide a greater impact for patients. If the concept pans out, healthy adults in their late 50s or early 60s could routinely take blood tests or specialized brain scans that search for buildup of amyloid or tau, another aberrant protein.

Backyard Travel, Here We Come!

At least a third of the 1,000 US consumers who were surveyed by travel research and marketing firm MMGY earlier this month say they plan to travel closer to home this year.

But even this data could be outdated given the volatility of the news cycle. Travel agents we spoke to this week say their clients are rethinking established plans to go abroad.

Just yesterday, Henley Vazquez, co-founder of Fora Travel, told my colleague that she and her industry friends are bracing for a shift in business—and soon.

Clients, she says, are asking questions such as “ ‘Are we not popular abroad? or ‘Are things getting too expensive?’ ” while also worrying that their investment portfolios and 401(k)s have just gone “down by a whole lot.” The net effect, Vazquez says, is that they’re focusing “a little bit more on domestic travel rather than going abroad.”

Circadian Rhythm Regulates Each Of The Body’s Organs

In Traditional Chinese Medicine it is believed that the chi or vital energy circulates through each body organ in two-hour intervals every 24 hours. There are specific times for each organ meridian.

These specific times of chi circulation are when the meridian has its point of highest energy. In TCM this cycle helped inform people of the optimum time to eat, sleep, rest exercise, etc. It also made them aware of their connection to each body organ.

Today most people are concerned with waking up at the same time each night and not being able to get back to sleep. The time from 11 pm -1 am is when the Gall Bladder Meridian is most active. This is a time that the body should be at rest so that it can wake up feeling energized for the next day. If you are consistently waking at this hour your Gall Bladder Meridian needs balancing.

1-3 am is when the Liver Meridian is most active and the body should be asleep.” During this time, toxins are released from the body and fresh new blood is made.” If waking at this time you may have restrictions in the Liver Meridian.
