I still think there's something really weird going on with Gaza.

First, I've heard way too many people mention the 9/11 connection. It was so obviously spoonfed to us as a narrative that it's very suspicious. Yes, there are some parallels, but the way it was pushed by every media member almost minutes after it happened was very odd.

Second, the neocons have been way too aggressive on this. This does not play to their base at all and yet they are beating the drums of war at every opportunity. They seem to believe that they can get their side whipped up in a frenzy to the point where there will be war.

Third, the protests happening all over the world seem suspiciously timed to be red meat for everyone on the right. The exact people the people on the right hate are saying good things about Palestine. It reeks of manipulation.

There's a confluence of events to get the right bloodthirsty, because the left is bloodthirsty enough with Ukraine already. Maybe it's the defense industry, maybe it's the deep state. But whoever it is, they really, really want not just one war, but multiple ones.

During yesterdays walk for #31days, I found myself walking through a local park, a hub for the transient city folks.

I got a few hellos, an invite to join some for coffee, and a nod from a gentlemen on a park bench, protecting his closed guitar case like it was a newborn baby.

When I asked him if the melodies inside were waiting for a rainy day he just shrugged a bit. He seemed keen to play so I told him I’d do another loop and pass him by once more, enough time to get his guitar out if he chose to do so.

Upon my return, I was greeted with the most seamless chord sequencing flowing from his grubby calloused hands. He was playing Cowboy Shit and had he sang, I imagine he would have sounded exactly like Kenny Fiedler himself.

I felt like I entered a different world for that brief hour and he took the time to give me a glimpse into his. I hope he shares the sound of that pawn shop Yamaha 6 string for many others to hear.

What excellent thing happened to you today?

I asked what people would like to see built on nostr or added to. Here are the responses:

- Marketplace like Craigslist

- Ride sharing

- Stackoverflow-like Q&A

- Spotify-like fee mechanisms but decentralized and transparent

- Zap.stream: easier way to tell apart streams that are offline or not

- Zap.stream: a way to not show ended streams under live

- zap.stream: a way to see if there’s an available VOD (I think we should just not show ended on home page, unless they have VOD)

- Telegram/Discord-like app

- Localbitcoins-like website & app

- Nothing new: Improve what we already have

- Better media publishing (standalone client?)

- Key management for iOS (passkey, faceid)

- Figjam type collaborative workspace

- Single place to manage all types of subscriptions / donations for nostr projects

- 0xchat: group VoIP

- Something for collaboration and “idea sex” 😂

So I tested the twitter revenue thing, boy that's gonna help them.

Doesn't mater how we feel about it, they are building the sticky incentives.

It actually pays relatively much more than I thought, for doing nothing you wouldn't already done. That's magic for ppl.

Which brings me back to economically meaning zaps. Zapping a beer counts, zapping sub dust limit won't attract the normies.

The competition and the normies are not morally aligned with us. Ppl are busy living their lives.
