Totally agree. Falsifying a theory - although kind of pessimistic - is the best starting point for a new theory.

I enjoyed your talk a lot and look forward to following your work
nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev I was just talking with nostr:npub1yzfm42rzr3dj2h50flpvdl0uzrv22kv2y4ghve804w5xqu6lzqcqkyfxu5 at #nostrasia and he said something I thought you'd find interesting. I'm going to try to summarize his point.
Imagining a future (not too far from now) where AI created content is much more ubiquitous than organically created content it will become harder to train AI models.
In order to avoid training an AI on AI created content model programmers may have to drill down into historical data to avoid corrupting the data set. Otherwise you may end up with an unrealistic recursive implementation.

Mostly I say “nostr” but sometimes I say “nostr” 🙉
Looks like a good idea. Does the player come to understand bitcoin by playing it or is it just a bitcoin theme?
So nostr is a protocol and noStrudel, Damus, etc, are applications built on top of this protocol. The protocol consists of something called NIPs (Nostr Implementation Possibilities) which are documents that define a certain behaviour for e.g. communities, "tweets", likes(reactions), etc. This makes it easy for multiple different clients to behave the same way and ensure interoperability. Communities is one of these NIPs (NIP-72) which defines how communities and related actions should behave and all clients that implements support for communities need to follow this document.
https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/72.md
So to answer your question: yes, communities is different from nostrudel because nostrudel is "just a client" built on top of the nostr protocol while communities is _a part of_ the nostr protocol.
I hope that made it clear, if not please tell me what you didn't understand and I'll try to explain it better.
thanks for such a detailed but clear overview, appreciate it a lot. I will look into nip 72 next and any implementations.
Thanks, I hadn't. Is communities different from nostrudel? I don't find it yet
thanks man, didn't know of that site
Are there any nostr dev groups I could join; eg telegram or discord?
I'm starting to build, with react/node and have some noob questions 🙏
Can anyone wiser advise on the difference/merits of nostr check or nostr plebs?
I know one is free and one is paid, but what about decentralisation or other fundamental differences.
🙏
thanks a lot
thanks man
thanks, but 404d
