Ahhhhh I don’t know how to ask it. I have a 550 acre farm. What can I do with #bitcoin here?
I’ll figure it out tho. I have questions about #bitcoin and #farmers
Do any #farmers use #bitcoin exclusively? #farm #farming
Like I have questions that I want to ask right now but I don’t even know how to ask them. That’s how behind the ball I am. 😂
I have a lot to learn here. I’m fine with that. I don’t need to be correct or know everything all of the time. I actually prefer learning about new things.
I’ll probably ask the most basic boomer #bitcoin and #nostr questions in history.

I was stunned that as an advocate for survivors of abuse her first reaction was excitement about nostr's censorship resistant properties! I did not realize how valuable the ability to publish the testimonies of survivors was.
I also very much appreciate the way she later goes on to talk about the threat CSAM poses to nostr. If nostr ever amounts to anything, it will be slandered as a refuge for evil people. I completely sign on to her mission to make it hard for people to say that's the case.
Currently, I don't do much in Coracle itself to identify or censor certain kinds of content. Once encrypted chat gets sorted out though, I intend next to build decentralized moderation on top of NIP 32 labeling, but even that is more of a "self-policing" mechanism, although I think it could easily be used to find and report bad stuff.
I'm honestly not sure what role a client should take in identifying and reporting illegal content, partly because I think it's mostly relays that should be doing that. However, as a father of 4, I very much resonate with the mission, and I do believe it's compatible with freedom of speech.
Anyway, all that to say, welcome to nostr nostr:nprofile1qqszzv6swdqp5vgveytelca806txvugvlhmrph7cgruh9svr5fztrtgpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3qamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wwa5kuegpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqkfdsnr
Sorry I do this boomer thing where if it doesn’t post IMMEDIATELY I hit post 10 times and it literally posts 10 times. 😂😂😂😂😂🤦🏼

Thank you for listening. I appreciate it!
Some of the builders for different apps are being extremely aggressive about detection and removal of child exploitation on Nostr. I don’t want to speak about those details in public for a few reasons but I’ve been impressed by what they have been able to accomplish!
Self-policing is the best way to protect decentralization. It’s like neighborhood watch. “It’s your house house so you must protect it.” Is how I look at it.
An individual should want to report to NCMEC CyberTipline (I’m not promoting an organization that’s just the org that takes the national tipline reports by law) because if nothing else the egregious content can be hashed and added to PhotoDNA and not allowed on corporate tech platforms etc.
The funny part is that I’m not particularly on a mission, I just love Nostr and I know about this topic specifically. I’m always learning because the crime is always changing but I definitely don’t mind talking about it.
I want to see you folks continue to succeed!
I see that you are a Christian, I’m pretty bullish about freedom and partly because I also want to protect freedom of religion. It’s important to me.

Carl chillin. #catstr
Supposed to say “of God” I don’t really proofread 😂
Wouldn’t it be wild is #AI is the blueprint on #God being put on the earth? I think about that a lot.
If I can figure it out literally anyone can figure it out. I’m a boomer normie hybrid pleb. 😂
X will have its place as the social media retirement home for the boomers.
Those who want something different will come and stay.
Yeah it really is. When it comes to the issue that I talk about for work it’s also a concern because they also collect data on children without consent etc.
I’m not the best at talking about that but I should get better.
I always forget to talk about data but I should. Thank you for the reminder.
I was mega tired last night and right when I was about to fall into a #peaceful #sleep …..
a #bat flew in my room.
So that’s a thing that happened.
I called nostr:npub14j7y6l7kprs8azvq7z7r02qu2ah3wysy70p53yvl79epwhs970mqrqantz to see if I would die if it bit me. I was freaking out.
She broke down the statistical chance of me dying by bat bite. 😐
I was not bitten.
