100%. We can learn from other crypto and how they are tackling different problems and try to adapt them for our use.
When we close our minds and just ascribe crypto as a "shitcoin" and thus inferior, we are leaving a lot of potential on the table. Thinking becomes dogmatic and takes too long for anything to be built.

I too see and feel as you do. That's why I remain on the side and do not participate much in the space. Almost as if not to let myself stray from the path and stay as "pure" as possible.
A lot of the popular and prevailing mindsets are precisely the thing that repels newcomers from wanting to adopt and take up bitcoin. It is like drinking from a firehose and those who do not think in the same way or say the popular phrases are not loyal or committed to the cause. I dislike how it can only be a binary outcome, either: with us or against, with no room to explore, innovate or see the areas in between. It has become the divisive nature of what we see in a lot of modern politics. The reality is bitcoin can be political, technological, philosophical and also none of those things. It can be whatever people see through their lens of life. To categorize it and only define it in a certain way limits the reach and potential it can achieve.
Celebrating wins before anything has been won is a strange view even if it is a meme. The path to victory isn't certain and it a long and testing trial.

How did hackers in the past learn about the systems they played with unless they were free to try new things and explore them at their limits, or for things the systems were not designed for?
The market's price was paid to have it included in the chain too. The fact that it exists seems to satisfy the requirements to have it included.
We don't have to like it, but it's is a part of bitcoin's history now. Celebrate it for its ingenuity, if nothing else, or whatever positive quality you can see. We are better than focusing solely on the negative traits.
