It makes an excellent Tomato soup!

My recipe, add red onion and just let cook altogether slow cooking. Only add water if needed at end when blending. Thickness as your preference.

Nopales/prickly pear cactus 🌵

They're great for healing the digestive tract, soothing inflammation and relieving constipation.

If you haven't haven't had them, they taste like green string beans, imo.

I buy them prepared (spines removed and pre sliced) then boil them and add lemon and salt for a quick summer side salad.
