I think this is somewhat debatable. The ethos of bitcoin reflects that of the USAs founding fathers. Though our goverment may not want to lose their dollar hegemony, the citizens here will adopt it more quickly then most other nations and eventually force our politicians hands.

This is a really interesting perspective and has already inspired me to dig in a little bit more.
In particular the bit about evil men being charming. One disservice a lot of fiction does is reinforce that evil looks a certain way. Voldemort, Sauron, or all the stereotypical Disney villas.
This is not reality. Many of the most evil men in the world have worn smiles and charm while they enacted policies of violence and death.
Trudeau's carm, in my opinion, is actually a reason to judge more closely.
The freedom here is incredible. I've had a similar experience. I never used to post of Twitter, Reddit, Instagram. But the lack of gatekeepers and pure unadulterated freedom has simply COMPELLED me to post more.
