The PCE price index came out today and showed re-acceleration on a month-over-month and year-over-year basis.
How do you think the fed sees this data? In your opinion, is this convincing enough to reaccelerate the rate hikes?
It's one of those beautiful patterns, that once you see it, you realize it exists in all things. It's amazing how learning to apply it in one field carries over to others as well π
Totally agree! It's all about that mindset, those challenges were just a gift and now I can use that wisdom and apply it to over domain. Appreciate the kind words #[1] π
Thank you, not a chance I stop any time soon, #ProofOfWork every single day πͺ
After spending so much of my youth overweight/obese I'm grateful every day to be in this beautiful healthy body.

I still have the stretch marks from that past life, but rather than resent them, they consistently remind me of how far that I've come and how many internal battles I've endured to be here. They are not imperfections, but beautiful reminders of what discipline can accomplish.

Log into Twitter, see two videos of people dying and then this. π Then I came back home π

You are well, hope you have a fantastic day π₯°
I specifically try to consume anti bitcoin content just to help ensure that I understand their argument and don't get too excited.
So far that's only served to increase my conviction, but it's still important and I will continue to do it.
Love this perspective, we are part of a diverse ecosystem, just because they don't align with you doesn't justify any hate β€οΈ
Book #7 so far in 2023! We are cruising now that its so cold outside.
This one was solid. Certainly made me rethink how situational context can influence communication and the way humans interact. The topic is particularly pertinent the more intermingled our cultures before, and I think it could help me directly be more understanding of others.
I short, would recommend if you are a Gladwell fan, but it's probably the weakest of his books that I've personally read. 77/100
#NostrBookClub #books #writing

I'm looking forwards to having differnt "flavors" of Nostr clients. For example, I love to follow each one of you in this Twitter-ish format, but interacting with you in more of a Reddit style with subreddits (still with my same follows) would be really interesting, especially with how much of a garbage fire Reddit has become.
Deeply grateful for each and every one of those OGs who has helped me along the way.
Everyone likes to think that if they discovered bitcoin early they would be rich today, but for me personally, it was their teaching that helped to give me the conviction to hodl through the waves.
Much love to all of them πβ€οΈ
That's super smart, I should probably be better about that, especially with the permanency of notes.
Incredible how going down the BTC rabbit hole makes you aware of the privacy rabbit hole too π
Nah, NFT bros are a different beast. New people don't know better yet... some of those shills are a form of evil on this world.
Fair, sorry to pry, it just looked beautiful and I love traveling π
Love it.
This is actually one of the most important discussions to be able to have with someone new to bitcoin IMO. When people enter this space it's easy to see why they are taken by other coins, by insulting them it puts them on the defensive right away. This makes it harder for them to be swayed by your words, no matter how brilliant you think your argument for bitcoin is.
I'm as much of a maxi as anyone, but I always try to handle conversations with new people excited about thinking in "blockchain" delicately. Most people aren't swayed as well through argument as they are through conversation.
Where is that, that weather looks incredible π
The optimism and enjoyment I get from spending my time here is still π

Very similar to my life now, just more writing and family time π
It's funny how things can come about randomly and grow into gigantic parts of your life.
Like many people I got obsessed with the game Guitar Hero, spending way too many waking hours attempting to hit 100% on songs. Eventually, with a little prodding from my uncle, I picked up a real guitar and I found out quickly how rewarding music can be. It was a distraction I could pour my soul into during some of the more challenging times of my life. It brought about friendships, relationships, and deep meditative states I still can't emulate any other way than by playing a challenging song and letting myself flow with the music.
I was learning how to play guitar, but I didn't realize that I was actually learning what I now believe to be two of the most important skills in life: self learning and self confidence.
Later after I graduated from college and had a total lack of direction I stumbled upon programming. Quickly I saw in it the same elements that existed in music. I was able to teach myself an instrument, so why couldn't I teach myself to write code? Without the experiences of guitar I never would have had the deep faith in my ability to persevere and learn something new on my own.
Now I have a brilliant job programming every day, this entire life I've created for myself is founded upon playing guitar and the self confidence it brought. A skill that was founded on a chance interaction of picking up a video game, something that seemed completely inconsequential at the time, but began a thread that now weaves through every facet of my life.
I'm so excited to see what minor actions that seem trivial today turn into as my life progresses, maybe it'll even be a small interaction with one of you beautiful people.

Honestly though, I read a shitton and this is one of my favorite podcasts. You don't gotta sell me, I'll dive in either way π
