Writing the Great American Bitcoin Novel 📚🧡✍️

That's a really good point, however I don't understand how it would function if I'm connected to relays with wildly different use cases at the same time.

Maybe you can have different "sets" of relays you connected to, easily togglable, based on hoe you want to use the protocol.

Like I said, controversial, I love the way things work now I have just been excited to see how this evolves.

Do you have any ideas to solve this problem?

The sunshine looks a little bit brighter and my interactions with others are a little more joyous after some hard rounds with the boys 😄

Might be a controversial opinion on here, but I still think it would be cool for clients to experiment with an algorithmic feeds, even an additional feed on top of the one that shows everything.

A bunch of times now I've missed notes written by those of you I really care about.

It could be as simple as me selecting a couple users that I want to see EVERY note they post. This data could pretty easily be stored locally on each individual client so the way we interact with the protocol doesn't change, and only people who like that feature could use that client.

Or maybe this sounds terrible to you, the free market will decide!

I don't know what you did for lunch today, but I got the fuck after it 💪🧠♟️

🚨 PSA NOSTR PLEBS 🚨

It is becoming increasingly popular for 401k providers to prevent you from withdrawing "your money" for almost any reason.

Check to make your plan isn't as communistic as mine, then aquire more money you actually own 🧡⚡️

Yup, guess who has two thumbs and immediately stopped contributing to the plan

NOPE. That's what I'd always been told and exactly what I was hoping to do, apparently my plan/employer forbids that.

Update I got from HR:

"The restrictions are based off recommendations from the service providers to limit the risk to an employee’s funds."

#[0]

Yup, I just thought I had SLIGHTLY more control over it or could use it for other things.

God this whole thing is fucked, let it 🔥🔥🔥

I'll certainly be making some noise, specifically with my employer, as this is completely ridiculous.

I knew they were restrictive, but most allow you to withdraw after paying a penalty or at least taking some kind of loan against it.

Just another reason illustrating just how broken our financial system is.

Nope. They don't even allow that, this was one of my first thoughts as well. The guy said it was one of the most restrictive plans that he'd ever seen.

I am thoroughly pissed off right now.

I was just told by my 401k provider that my work's plan is so restrictive that I'm not allowed to take out MY MONEY for any reason that isn't a hardship withdrawal (medical bills, serious financial issues) or quitting my job.

Is it really MY fucking money then if I can't do what I want with it?

I'm continually impressed with your ability to digest and explain technical information Lyn, as a software engineer I know how challenging this is and you are one of the best in this realm. Appreciate you and your work ♥️
