They didnt and couldnt rug it. The open source firmware they released will always be available under that license.
They just reissued their existing code under an additional license and only release their new code with that. If you want the open source version use the older firmware.

Theres a maximum of 2,100,000,000,000,000 sats. This puts the average sats per person at about 262500 sats.
If all global net worth was in sats, each sat would be worth about 24 US cents in todays money. But I like to take Hal's figure of 20 million Bitcoin. Thats easy to calculate and make a nice round 25 cents per sat today.
