Running your own relay isn’t sufficient to participate in Nostr social. Wouldn’t your followers need to read from your relay too?
I am new here. I don’t know. But I haven’t ever seen a poll here. So maybe it is something that hasn’t been implemented.
The text box appears to be single line of text. It would be nice if there is a little space. I know the box expands as you enter text.

I guess there is nothing stopping Bitcoin folks from adopting Nostr but it would be a shame if Nostr is associated only with Bitcoin in the public perception. Nostr could be more.
Notes are not encrypted. Only direct messages are (kind4). So relay operators are aware of what they are distributing.
How did you propose to moderate in SSB in similar conditions?
I was wondering about content moderation too! Effectively clients will have to follow the content rules of the relays that they use. We should probably be thankful that CSAM isn’t being distributed here.
Oh. I am sorry to hear that. It is hard to imagine that a war continues to rage on while the rest of us are leading relatively peaceful lives. What evil lives in the heart of those are responsible for it!
More and more important to not use platforms for *any* activity. End to end encryption AND data hygiene (delete chat logs after the conversation is closed) is extremely reasonable now. Tell your friends.
I am wondering when non Bitcoiners will find Nostr. Or would they go to other social networks…
Is there a good reason to sort the notes by pubkey? Or is it just a result of how it might have been read from the database?
