Hmm.. the highlights are going to be as long as the match itself.
"Spotify co-president says HiFi is still ācoming at some pointā, delayed due to competition from Apple and Amazon, which offer lossless audio for no extra charge."

That had the option to launch it anyway as an paid on. Silly to be competing with tech giants on price.
Twitter is better for news only because there are people breaking news on it. Bots on Nostr can easily bring links to breaking news to Nostr too. RSS to Nostr bots.
How do I take a backup of my posts?

My theory is that a product is successful only if it gives you superpowers. That is, the ability to do something you *already* (want to) do but ālonger, faster, higherā.
I saw your post on planetary dot social that you are winding it down. I suppose it was not ever possible to have read only accounts on SSB (like they do here on Nostr). Read only accounts canāt fork the blockchain.
I bought some extra nice coffee this week but they warned to have it without black. Unfortunately I like frothy milk too much.
They have to fill the gap left by Twitter. It is an opportunity that comes by rarely.
Yes! SSB is fundamentally cryptographically signed JSON in a hashchain (or blockchain). Nostr is just cryptographically signed JSON. Because SSB posts are strictly ordered you can't add to the same hashchain from two separate devices because it forks the chain. I wrote more about it here: https://mattlorentz.com/weblog/2023/01/18/nostr-v-ssb.html
Is there a way / best practice to group SSB identities together?
Who is this Brian Armstrong?
We just released Planetary 2.0 (our secure #scuttlebutt app). It includes a rewrite of the core secure scuttlebutt bot and the frontend ui from UIKit to SwiftUI.

Folks might not know, but a lot of what nostr is based on is secure scuttlebutt. There are design differences, but itās 99% the same. Because of that, weāre working on a version for nostr, which weāre calling nos.social.
Please take a look and check it out.
How is Nostr able to support the same identity on multiple clients but I donāt see that on SSB? Is there a fundamental difference in the 2 protocols that enables this?
Where are all my posts? If I configure a new relay, will my historical posts also be uploaded there? How does one keep old posts available?
Love how I can limit the global timeline to just 2 degrees away.
Looking forward to a Nostr client without cryptocurrency tie ins.
This means you, nos dot social. š
Wouldnāt a Nostr relay for all those users be equally difficult to operate in Australia because of these new laws?
One should never be short on sleep. If you didnāt sleep well in the night, take a nap before you start your next big task.
