I think you are right about this aspect of the culture. Culture is such a broad term and when people talk about cultural decay I am making a lot of inference as far as what they are referring to, especially when paired with religion. Specifically I think they are referring to transgender and homosexual culture among other things. I did not think you were referring to the family dynamic. I would love to see households be able to sustain on one income because otherwise they have to fall back on the state to help raise their children.
Aside from that, though, I think there are many aspects of culture that will become more liberal when given the freedom to do so.
Thinking about doing an Ayahuasca ceremony vision quest thing to find motivation to do the dishes and keep my apartment cleaner. Overkill?
Or maybe Bitcoin will lead to a culture where people are more free to choose to do, like, and love whatever the hell they want, despite what some prudish religious minority thinks.
The culture is just changing, not decaying. If you think Bitcoin will bring society back towards traditional values then you are in for a rude awakening.

Interesting, it's been around awhile apparently and I just noticed it. This place is amazing.
For it to truly be free energy it would have to be a generator that produces unlimited energy and transmits it without any sort of infrastructure to wherever it needs to go. Otherwise there would always be some cost. However even if it were completely unlimited and free I think PoW would still be viable because mining hardware is finite. The cost of hardware would spike as everyone scrambled to take advantage of the free energy.
There seems to be some cross-posting thing happening with Mastadon lately. Users with very few followers are actively posting Mastadon related hashtags and have Mastadon related NIP_5s. They are only coming through the nostr:npub16fcy8ynknssdv7s487nh4p2h4vr3aun64lpfea45d7h4sts9jheqevshgh relay as far as I can see.
I haven't seen anyone talk about this type of cross platform compatibility being active yet. Does anyone know anything about this? #asknostr #nostr
