That collection of essays has been very interesting. I've found a lot of what they are saying already aligns with my way of thinking, just more in depth and better articulated than I could ever hope to be.

I have a lot of opinions and want to post more, but I've found my skepticism holds me back as there's not a lot I believe in so faithfully that I feel comfortable enough to make an authoritative post about.

Thanks for the link, I'm still working my way through it, but it's given me a lot to think about already.

Apparently the Dem AZ governor is vetoing pretty much everything coming out of the Rep controlled legislature. This will have to go back to vote to override it.

It's tough to find objective and unbiased information sources. People get locked in to certain sources that reinforce their views and reject sources that challenge them, which leaves them vulnerable to propaganda and manipulation. Anyone who thinks they've somehow broken free of these risks is deluding themselves. Nostr is no exception. Question everything.

Yep

That's crazy. I don't see a lot of news about Bitcoin adoption there. I know it's higher than average, but I rarely hear about it.

Yes I know that. But if the rich get all the printed money they still get richer and the poor get poorer. I am obviously not for printing money at all, but if we're doing it anyway it would be nice to see it distributed more equitably.

I have a hard time stopping once I start eating junk food with MSG on it, so I'd say yes.

If we're printing money anyway I'd rather they do that than give it all to the rich. Thankfully Bitcoin fixes this (eventually).

They build products that are the same quality as the money used to buy them: Absolute shit.

Planning to meet up at a nostr event might be moving a bit fast. I hope I'm not coming across as desperate (even though you suggested it lol). I'd really just like to get to know you better and tell you about myself if you're interested.

Maybe we can connect on SimpleX? I promise I'm not a fed. May I have permission to DM you m'lady? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Fuck it, I'm just going to say it. I have a crush on nostr:nprofile1qqszzv6swdqp5vgveytelca806txvugvlhmrph7cgruh9svr5fztrtgpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuat50phjummwv5q32amnwvaz7tmwdaehgun9d35hgetn9ehhyecxzlqcg. I've been trying to ignore it, but she keeps posting about being single and I can't help it. I haven't really tried to date anyone in years for personal reasons I won't go into here, but I'm a much different person now than I was when I gave up on it. Maybe it's time to give it another try.

So I'm shooting my shot here publicly for all to see. nostr:nprofile1qqszzv6swdqp5vgveytelca806txvugvlhmrph7cgruh9svr5fztrtgpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuat50phjummwv5q32amnwvaz7tmwdaehgun9d35hgetn9ehhyecxzlqcg, will you go out with me? (Just ignore the fact that we live 1000+ miles apart)

I watched the whole video and still don't know what XXI actually does.

That video was all hype about it being a Bitcoin only company and no real substance about what you actually do. Just a few vague statements about financial services or education. I do not trust a SPAC much either, they tend to be pump and dumps.
