Pura Vida!

tell your local hopium dealer that the xmr/btc chart does not look too bad

i already surrendered it to my custodial lightning wallet provider, am i a good slave?

or think that ecash, where the mint can produce more tokens than they can back with real bitcoin is a good idea.

the freedom to transact freely does not help you when the state sees your transactions and goes after you.

its like free speech. You can speak freely but you have to suffer the consequences of the state putting you in a gulag after the last word came out of your mouth.

bitcoin has nothing to do with freedom tech anymore. it is a number go up circle jerk.

zero privacy is enough privacy? ok

that is true, but it will not matter to the users who get rug pulled by the next ugly nerd SBF like crew which runs the mint, sells unbacked tokens to their users for real bitcoin and then do an exit scam. It is beyond retarded to create a system which allows that, it is the most anti bitcoin thing i can imagine.

no onchain privacy, wasabi and samourai gone, lightning does not scale and self custodial LN is a pain in the ass still, ecash mints allow to break the 21m cap - the state of bitcoin is pretty terrible, sadly.

i rather dump on wallstreet in this cycle, lightning promised much and delivered little, bitcoin has no privacy and no decent scaling solution is in sight. sad to say that, but that is it.

you are free to transact but you have to suffer the consequences of the gov monitoring a fully transparent ledger. amazing freedom, much wow!

thanks for your answer. to me that is peak retardation, there is nothing left of why i got into bitcoin in the first place. A coin with no privacy, no decentralization, trusted third parties everywhere and now not even a fixed supply. total degeneration.

thanks! to me that is a pretty bad development. anti bitcoin, anti freedom, anti decentralization. what we have now is paypal on bitcoin as soon as the gov goes against wallet providers, game over

whats your take on ecash like cashu?

isnt a trusted third party involved in ecash, the mint? and cant the mint create more ecash tokens than they hold satoshis?
