Rarely I have issues with both brave and newpipe but it's almost always with an outdated version that's no longer effective because of updates to youtube.

I also frequently use yt-dlp but that also needs to be up to date.

Youtube is the only mainstream social media I've ever cared about. Some of the channels I watch have started posting to odysee too but many still only exist on youtube. Hopefully one day the fediverse is where everyone worth following ends up, it's cozy here because of admins like graf.

This, I'm very uncertain about the accuracy of dates myself, best estimate. Also other millenials like myself probably think of themselves as 90s kids even though they were born in the 90s and barely remember anything from that early childhood. So when we say 90s in fact we might be talking about up to 2005 which is not the 90s at all.

Not surprised that the first game was basically released at the same time as the first movie.

The greentext could be true if it's meant to be early oughts rather than true 90s. Altho a millenial europoor woman turning lesbian isn't particularly likely. Probably more of a zoomer thing.

I'm europoor. And as I recall some kids at school already had a cell phone, usually a Nokia around 2000 to 2002, by about 2004 or 2005 most kids had a cell phone of some kind. Likely possible only because of cell carrier monthly payment plans, barely anyone would have had the ability to outright buy a cell phone.

I'm pretty sure the first iPod I ever saw at school was only around 2007, no one had them, a lot more portable CD players or cheap MP3 players. Likewise almost no iPhones or other touchscreen phones around 2010. Over here everyone having a smartphone in their pocket probably only began around 2014 to 2016.
