I think it’s not something I need right now, but definitely good that it exists.

The only thing is that it is being build on top of the already complex and sometimes flaky #Lightning network, but really like to verify my basic understanding of its working with some more technical details…

Well obviously you’re not a target user this is for.. I run it on my own hardware (only bitcoin related apps, my other stuff runs on docker or other machines). I like the set and forget feel of it.. one less thing to worry about.. and yes it looks nice but don’t really care about that

Buy the way; creating incoming liquidity at low cost on your #lightning node can be very easy using nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9 and ThunderHub:

- Open a new lighting channel to a well connected and trustworthy node.

- Make an invoice on nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9 for half of the value of the newly opened channel.

- Use ThunderHub to pay the invoice, selecting the new channel.

- Send the sats back to your on-chain wallet with nostr:npub1ex7mdykw786qxvmtuls208uyxmn0hse95rfwsarvfde5yg6wy7jq6qvyt9's and pay **zero** on-chain fees, because they are awesome.

The first time I've used nostr:npub1m7r9aayrqjtt2q0whkyrwlys75s5d828c5uewvqwyfd2kxefkfjqgeny2w using my own #lightning node. Omg, this is awesome!

Learned in the past few days that having a few well connected lightning channels open is enough and blazing fast, faster than having tens of smaller channels.

I've moved the chicken livestream back to YouTube. Zap.stream is really super cool, but it's draining my sats even with the generous zaps it still costs me about 20 euros a month to do a 24/7 stream.

Yes, I understand why it should cost money, but for me it is currently not worth it.

I'll definitely will try to get it back to zap.stream in the future.
