In the Netherlands we celebrate Sinterklaasā¦ itās the OG Santa.
Our kids get a (small) present in their shoe every week for 3 weeks leading up to Sinterklaasā birthday on December 5th.
On his birthday they get loads of presents from us, their grandparents, uncleās etc. We try to limit it to giving 3 presents or 30 Euros per family (so we give 3 to each kid, my parentās give 3 max per kid etc.)
Each kid will end up with about 15 presents or more because somehow the the rules donāt apply to grandparentsā¦
