Yesterday was a bust. Was trying to get #Mullvad VPN to work on a #raspberrypi using #CasaOS so that I could torrent and use sonarr/radarr without getting another email from my ISP 🙃

Sorta got it to work with an Ubuntu install (not server, the clunky OS 😔) and then CasaOS installed via the terminal with a command. Set up sonarr but indexers didn't cross over to radarr or whatever, like they do in #Umbrel . Also have to manually set up the torrent client per app (radarr/sonarr/lidarr/readarr) unlike UmbrelOS and that was annoying.

Guess i should have just tried it all with UmbrelOS to begin with, but i got frustrated and uninstalled everything to make it an #OpenMediaVault NAS in the hopes i could use docker through there... but on the latest version of OMV, docker is tricky to install... 🤡

I mow my yard and I mow my neighbors yard. Typically this is a 2 hour thing but it's been dry around here and I haven't had to mow in a while ...

We began getting a lot of rain in the past week or so and grass took off like #BTC in November of 2020. So mowing and trimming and I also need to weed out some landscape areas (that's Phase III)

Probably 3/4 acre total with a walk behind and a trimmer.

Phase II of mowing complete. Phase III can wait until tomorrow 🌱🚜

The water is good but it’s black. It was the first time I entered in black water. 😱 And it’s not dirty… it’s because of something else. I can’t remember why. But it was great!

I took this photo in January 2022 when I first visited Paracas,in Peru. It was a hot sunny day,in contrast to the “cold” July weather in Brazil. I remember having a severe sunburn because I went to desert and was wearing no sunscreen. It was worthy though. 😀

Isn’t it weird how we’re always projecting the best image of ourselves and try to convince other that they should adopt our values and do things our way 🤔

Why? Why do we do this? Can’t we just mind our own lives?

Biggest sell point for me and how I finally "got" #nostr : I just tried it and found that I could switch through 4 different platforms, instantly porting everything and use different apps and external tools with my identity, content, and community everywhere at once.

The people don't need the tech and specs, they don't even need the freedom sell (though for a small percent that's the hook), it just works and it's a vibe and I can move around a huge network of uses and experiences effortlessly.

This new Arc browser seems neat...
