Boo #WorldIPDay - IP is way too restrictive as it is. While abolishing would be best, a reduction of years and allowing more exceptions would be OK. Last thing we need is to make it even more restrictive!

This is grift and fraud. The only people who should be happy about it are either folks who are getting in on the ponzi scheme and hoping they’ll get out before it collapses or people who are accelerationists who want to bring about the collapse of the current system as fast as possible. Who cares about the people hurt in the process.
Yeah, I imagine the Trump coin will go up and down whenever he does stuff and then drop to never recover after his term.

X has lists, Mastodon has lists and the ability to follow hashtags, Bluesky has lists and feeds, what does Nostr have in that sort of vein?
I use Amethyst, but am open to a different one if there's a better option.

Yes I believe so on Bluesky. I think people could in theory set up their own relay and app on the AT Protocol and have access to stuff that way. However it is prohibitively expensive in comparison to Mastodon or Nostr, and the vast majority use the main Bluesky and its moderation service.
Nostr seems even more complicated than Mastodon. I'm sure it'll get better with time though.

I joined Amethyst instead of Primal. It seems much better in terms of discovery! It has a global feed, however that feed appears to be filled with bots, posting a single note each, and it's nonsense. Why are there so many bots?
