Does iris need to be refreshed to update changes or are they visible automatically?
I like nostr more than twitter for multiple reasons. One reason is that if you win an argument with logic on nostr, while the antagonist may not do the right thing and verbally concede defeat, at least he will not go full asshole as on twitter and get his followers to pigpile you with emotional diatribe.
Everything was and is TCP/IP so when people migrated from AOL it wasn't due to increasing the difficulty level of the move, it was lowering the price and the bar of understanding. AOL was complicated to use (as I know) compared to the GUI's these days.
Normies don't give fucks about who pilots the plane, they want to sit back and be taken somewhere without getting involved with what is happening in the cockpit.
I suppose this means twitter-like versions of nostr where pre-sets are in place and few choices are available.
Or did I miss the point?
I'll wager that a large percentage of nostr participants are bitcoiners, right? And beyond that, they are high level bitcoiners who understand cold storage and how to protect their own keys.
The average man wants to log on to twitter, facebook or tictoc and get his good feels from those media without even understanding or caring what happens behind the curtain including government and marketing influences.
Also we have blocking...
Perhaps eden identified you as a spammer and blocked you?
You are still not answering the question which was not "what is the dictionary definition of spam". You act as though you think we are stupid for raising the question, what triggers the initial identification of "spam" in your algorithm.
It is strange that he can reply to 100 notes but doesn't have the time to answer this question. Obviously a "spammer" won't keep signing up at 5000 sats per crack, but what triggers the spam algo in the first instance?
I'm also a hodler. Trading the long side is just for fun as its a non-kyc way to generate more coin. I never short it although I do short the hell out of ETH sometimes... đ¤Ł
I just got alby installed so to send and receive Lightning tips I just use bitburn@getalby.com in the nostr field that shows the Lightning address?
fyi derek in hebrew means "the road", or "the way".
