Thank you. Like everything though it took work to get here. Everyone thought I was crazy for wanting to live off grid in the middle of nowhere. But that was in 2018. No one thinks that anymore. I just got lucky in life and timing.
I'll have to look back into the foam. To be fair though this trailer will likely never move. I'm doing a bit of statist jujitsu. It cost a fortune in fees and permits to build a house but I don't need a permit to build a trailer. And my specific county will allow tiny houses as the primary residence. So it is an inexpensive temporary solution. The long term housing is to be a barndominium but I'm trying to get all my debt paid off before that. Then the tiny house will turn into an airbnb or a hipcamp situation.
I'll try to remember to do that.

35 acres which is the minimum land size you can have here to drill a well. I've been living here since 2018 in a 50 year old 14 ft camper so this thing is going to feel like a mansion. At least I'll be able to stand up straight.
I used R13 fiberglass on the floor. Not sure yet what I am going to use for the wall. From what I've read the old school fiberglass has a better R value than the spray foam. Although I'm sure the spray foam is a better sealer.
Insulated and flooring down.

I agree. I had never thought of it because that's how it was explained to me in the beginning but that is not what it is or should be called, at all. Lesson learned. That being said, I use all of them (Except Blue) but Sparrow is my favorite. It looks rather intimidating at first but once you figure it out it's very clean and easy to use. And from what I understand you can use it with any and all of your signing devices.
Are you asking about hardware or software or both?
New additions to the flock.

Yeah, I wish. It's my work computer so that's not an option. That's okay, if I'm not on some lists by this point I'm not trying hard enough.

GM everyone.
GM everyone!

I'm not familiar with that plastic. What is it?
Yes, the new building will have water catchment. Everything (except my camper) here has water catchment, the shed, the greenhouse, even my chicken coop. Each time that I build/get something new I upgrade my solar. I started with 2 100 watt panels and a single 12 battery. Then when I got the shed I moved to a 4 100 watt panels on that roof and two 320AH 6 volt batteries and moved the old system to the greenhouse. My current system is also a solar/wind hybrid and is way more than I currently need. My next system will be lithium and more panels but that may not be until I build the Barndominium which is the ultimate goal but that's years away.
A well here cost around $25k for a solar one as they have to drill just over 380 ft to hit water so that's going to be a ways off as well but I'll start saving for that after I pay off the property in ~3 years.
It took me way too long in life to realize that the people around me with all of the nice stuff didn't have more money they just had more debt. I would always ask myself, "How can they afford all of these nice things?" They couldn't. It was all debt.
Under that framing will be 1/4" plywood (mostly to keep critters out) and I was thinking of wrapping that in moisture barrier but I haven't decided yet. Eventually it will get skirted and it doesn't precipitate much where I live so I'm not terribly concerned. Ive been off grid here since 2018. 35 acres, solar, compost toilet, "rain" capture. No shower though. I bought one but haven't ever used to due to the typical lack of water. No well yet as I want to get the property paid off first. It's slow going but I have a low time preference.
Thanks, will do. I'm already on solar right now. I'm living in a camper onsite currently this build is just phase 2.
