Agree and that’s why we’re working on a mining development kit as well - giving people access to tools (ie. asics, boards, open source software and firmware, documentation) to make it easier for others to build equipment alongside the ones we’ll design and offer.

Decentralizing the supply chain is a critical first step in helping to decentralize the greater mining industry

Just to be clear - you’ll be selling units with Intel’s chips and then later will be selling units with Block’s in-home built chips?

That’s correct. We’ll also be offering components (chips and boards) along with software for developers who want to build their own systems.

Our girls are here, but that was preceded by the passing of my dad, Angelo. He passed away on March 15. The girls arrived 11 days later.

They have his eyes and that's really something that leaves me with so much joy but also lots of sadnesss.

I've never wanted to "fit in" or be a part of the crypto industry. The crypto industry has been the most cringe thing to be a part of since 2017

Every time I tell family, friends, and now prospective candidates what we do, I usually have to spend half of that conversation telling them why our work isn't like what the crypto industry does at all.

"No it isn't about getting people to buy a token"

"The price does not matter to what we're doing"

"It's the opposite of FTX"

"The point is to give people across the world tools and services that will let them control their own financial destiny no matter who they are"

I don't want to be part of a failing industry that has caused the loss of $billions from real, hardworking people. I will never fit in with an industry like that.

When asked, I never talk about what ‘industry’ I’m in but instead describe the problems we’re working to solve. Only if the conversation goes into more detail I talk about the tools & technologies (bitcoin) to enable this.
