I will. Right now all I want to do is run a “private” node. I am not interested in routing, and am finding it fairly hard to find good info/guides catered towards this use case.
I’ve tried to operate a node a couple of years ago, with the idea that I wanted to route payments and had the same experience as you.
Finally digging in to running my own lightning node, and oh boy this is a rabbit hole.
