When you're talking about Nostr this week to potentially new Nostriches, try not to say NIP-05 ID. Use the phrase "Nostr address". It's friendlier and familiar. Tell them it's unique like an Email address or a Lightning address. 🤝

The way you framed this excellent. Also drives home why someone may want to consider hosting their own NIP-05.

I say this knowing full well that you are responsible for nostrplebs.com.

This is not dissimilar to how #Bitcoin is used differently by different groups of people. Some being staunch self-custody, others using custodial or hosted services, and a third group doing a bit of both.

Absolutely. 🫂 I may have founded NostrPlebs, but I also tell people to run their own Nostr address if they have the technical skills and the time to do it. We grow the community and the protocol by helping everyone.
