how can a orangepilled long time preference man find a woman in this fiat low time preference world?
every suggestion enabled.
no internet involved please. i need human contact.
same, unsubscribed.
hope they understand.
How do you store them? I would like to learn sketching. Sometimes could be useful too.
Like you said I abstract them in text form. I write notes as if I were writing to someone else so it's easier to reconstruct in the future and they are ready to be shared if needed.
It is a meme? whats in the last pic?
also i don't understand . and ,
someone can explain me?
Pls don't fight about communism in private. We also want to debate.
Here's the link:
If the link expires and the book disappear from the internet I have a copy of it, just ask.
We need to set up a file archive, text only? Something like a distributed version of wikipedia?
Maybe a wikipedia on IPFS?
It should be something that people decide what to host.
If i remember correctly the whole wikipedia, en version only, is less than 1TB.
Never heard about it.
Not my personal choice. I feel more secure keeping my personal notes where i know, distributed and secured in my devices. Using a password manager to secure my notes brings me pece of mind. It's the only way I really feel to own them.
Nearly impossible with paper to cypher and secure notes.
Anything else can be seized or simply seen when we die.
I want notes to be mine and mine only, even when i'm dead. Like a diary, a memory extension of my brain. I need to communicate with my future self in a private and secure way.
Until processing power can be so high to break that algorithm. Can't do anything about it.
I forgot to mention that I was curious because you're a public account with anonymous identity.
Your notes should be as secure as you want to keep your identity separate from your public figure.
At least I think you're anonymous.
I focused only on your ideas not your figure.
can you pls try now?
I'm afraid not.
I use KeepassDX and syncthing but it lacks lot of features Obsidian has.
But you can rely on:
- versioning (syncthing)
- collaboration (sharing master password with others)
- security
Just two days ago I asked myself what do you Gigi use to take notes privately.
paper is slower and not convenient in my opinion, I prefer write immediatly some thought and bring paper everywhere it's complicated.
i didn't find other solutions that are privacy oriented.
I think the most secure, privacy oriented and convenient way to take notes is an updated android (LOS or GrapheneOS) and KeePassDX. Optional Syncthing for versioning and not loosing things.
thanks.
on my way to do it trying to stay more focused on privacy i can.
can't create alby account with tor.
i'm looking for alternatives.
I think this society did a great job teaching them to be offended and angry when someone have different opinions than yours, it's completly normal. Opinions are great and should not be attacked or censored. Should be discussed!
I personally love debating without bringing emotions and being personal. I think it's my key to learn from others.
In my honest opinion people don't understand that it's okay to have strong different opinions. It's not dangerous if someone say something he/she thinks, au contraire!
Good point!
i'm thinking about a webserver that displays:
- tab 1 raw data recieved by event or .. (IP hidden?)
- tab 2 raw data sended by event or .. (IP hidden?)
- tab 3 public log ?
maybe too much infos. i'm just thinking about it.
maybe clientside it's better. something you can enable to show everything the client sends and recieve from the relays.
i think i would like to filter by relay, by events, by recieved or sent..
just ideas flowing
If the problem is security or privacy then I tryed out this setup:
phone 1 security:
LineageOS or GrapheneOS with SIM card and only Signal installed plus the other preinstalled apps (calendar, camera, calculator etc). Of course you have to keep it updated.
This setup allow me to use a phone for calling and chatting only with my family members or closed friends. With this setup I personally use the phone at minimum, just when I really need it.
phone 2 privacy:
There is something I missed (navigator/maps, browser, wallet etc) so I did a second phone, a privacy oriented phone (with LineageOS or GrapheneOS) without SIM card. Airplane mode always on and only WiFi, everything is torrified. Navigator with offline maps and gps on (OsmAnd~).
With these two phones setup I have phone 1 for my real life, secure. phone 2 for everything else, privacy oriented.
Consideration:
- I would like to have a linux phone (a device like my pc to keep with me) cause i can have real pc privacy and security.
I think the question was not about security and privacy but detox from having a phone to keep real life and connection first.
I thought a lot about this and I think there is something that I would miss:
- calls from my family/close friends (impossible to have a pc always with you, wifi connected with signal or something else)
- navigator/maps (i tryed old garmin navigator but it's crap and maps are updated annualy i think)
I would love to have friends that doesen't care if i don't answer the phone for more that 12 hours but now people are worried.
I personally think that the closest and smartest way to detox is having only a phone 1.
optional having phone 2 with offline maps.
Tips:
- with PC you can emulate android apps if you really need
- for two factor auth you can use a blockstream jade or an offline old phone to keep at home
I have a question for you nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m if you want answer.
Do people in your position buy a secure phone for family and close friends? If yes do you trust that people keep it clean and updated?
I was thinking in the future about giving an additional linux phone to close friends/family, just to keep my close connections secure. I want to have root access to these devices so I can update and manage everything. I don't trust their security setup, most of them now have android outdated and who knows which keyboard or bloatware installed.
