“May we live in interesting times.”

Curse or blessing?

Always a blessing, in my opinion.

Novelty keeps life moving. To resist change or remain stagnant invites excess entropy - the kind of chaos that builds unnoticed until it demands a price.

The wise stay curious, leaning into what they don’t yet understand, finding strength in adaptability.

Take snow in South Carolina, for example.

It’s rare to get 2-3 inches of snow here, let alone have it linger for days. Growing up with family from Buffalo, NY, snow doesn’t usually impress me - they moved south for a reason. But as a photographer, I’ll always take an unexpected snowfall as a chance to step outside and engage with light, texture, and color in ways I don’t often get to.

Embracing the cold has been part of my routine for years now. Cold showers every morning - not because I enjoy them but because I’ve learned to appreciate what they build: resilience. Starting the day with something uncomfortable makes it easier to face bigger challenges head-on.

Stepping barefoot into the snow has become another ritual; a reminder of what the body can endure when the mind allows it.

Yesterday I walked three miles to the grocery store since the roads were too slick to drive. It turns out that this town doesn’t own a single snowplow. Should I be surprised? Probably not. Snow like this is a novelty here - an anomaly.

Here are some photographs I made over the past few days. I hope you may enjoy them.

Made with my Leica M262.

Very nice!

Just tell the person this directly. Don't pussy foot around on this. If people had not taken the time to correct me I would have been even stupider than I am now.

Once a friend in Community College said, OG, when you talk you say, "you know" way too much. I listened and he explained to me that people don't know, they need clear descriptions of the concepts that I'm trying to communicate.

Many examples of people correcting me and I am grateful. If the person can't handle this then that person has been set up for failure. As my Drill Sergeant used to say, A Bravo Foxtrot will set you up for failure. Don't be a Bravo Foxtrot. Which means, Buddy Fucker. When someone does or says something wrong correct it.

I'll even go up to strangers and fix their shirts, ties and if it's a women whose out of order I will politely say tell her away from other people. That's the key. We need to extend the hand of grace to all of those we encounter.

Your statement about Palestinians is not fact. It's about as ignorant as you can get.

Your hyperbole statement that "Palestinians are a murderous bunch." is not a fact. The fact is that there is no class of humans who are not murderous and furthermore who are without sin?

If it's information from Wikipedia I would hardly call that a fact. They lost a lot of credibility in 2020.

I better get my big boy pants pressed and ironed for the name calling I will receive.

Sigh.

Did you ever read Robert F Kennedy Jr's book? It's really good. Especially the part where "poppers" advertised in Gay magazines set up an already over stressed immune system on coke and sleepless nights for immune failure!

So packed and full of research data with sources.

Fauci already was making plenty of money on his failed cancer drug that created immune deficiency in the above mentioned people. Truly an evil man who while be wise to get with Jesus soon. He probably won't make it to 2026.
