When I came back from Spain and Portugal I asked the TSA where I could go to kiss the ground.
Good Job CIA.
I see your motorcycle lift, too. It looks like that allows a lot of safe movement.
Always have some soft wood wedges ready to act like dunnage to allow your slings to get retrieved or repositioned.
Make 4 nice 2x4 wedges from 0 to 3.5 inches by 12 inches long.

1. Do not side load from plumb more than 15 degrees. That is gingerly provide force and energy pulling within 15 degrees. Plumb is 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock. 15 degrees is 7 to 8 and 5 to 4 on a clock face.
2. At 30% and 60% the boom will handle the load greater than the rating on the end of the boom.
3. The hose clamps are too prevent a side load slide. This is the danger zone. Always keep the majority of weight on the boom end and no more than 50% within 15 degree off plumb.
Just imagine the end of your crane. Then go back 30% to the fulcrum and 60%. You might even use very heavy hose clamps to isolate an area at - 30 and - 60 percent. With a 2 inch or 3 cm gap for a small sling.
Of course welding or drilling into the boom of your shop crane will reduce the integrity of the boom unless it is an engineered solution so I think heavy hose clamps with slings or small chains that cannot slide will do the trick.
Kind of what I'm thinking. Sorry for the rough drawing.

Good Morning.
I had a Samsung i5 laptop that I'm giving to my daughter. It's 10 years old. Look for a high end modern laptop that is used. The aluminum bodies are good for cooling.
Look for a laptop that with at least an i5 processor, 16gb ram and an internal ssd.
These are things that will make great performance.
You still can't find good hardware in the cheap retailers. Also don't get crap resolution for your screen.
Think of things this way.
All the sources of information that require a tax eventually become corrupt from the manipulation of what is true to extract more patronage.
The tax (required tribute) is a use fee. The value for value system is also manipulated but the goal is to get new users who were not able to get the truth anywhere else and eventually found that they are inspired to pay for a service they would not want to lose.
The value for value model also benefits from upsetting the status quo because the status quo who start thinking a certain way are unsettled by the changing events. Status quo leaves and new people replace the old ones meanwhile the producers continue to work for the reward of freedom, truth and voluntary patronage. Time, Talent or Treasure is the voluntary tribute.
Websites with walled gardens are always going to die. All websites die unless revitalized. Let them die.
Recently I turned down a job because I was giving out personal information to multiple contractor websites and I stopped. I said, I don't need this job. I told them that websites are hacked all the time and I just don't need their contractors so screw up, sell, manipulate or carelessly handle my information.
Let the idiots play idiot games and devolution do it's job.
On your engine hoist add some pad eyes and you can use a small chain fall to adjust and flip. Something that won't slip. You'll carry the same weight but you can have more nuance in movement.
