I like this, it fits with my prediction/observation that high tech - especially ai - will dissolve centralized civilization as we know it. We'll probably be left to choose between techno-feudal smart cities w/ digital id (because how else will we know if you're a real human?) and more rustic libertarian small towns/vilages (w/ a few small free cities here and there) powered by self-sustaining high tech (3d-printers, exotic alt-tech, etc.) and irl interpersonal relationships.

In other words, technology will force us to return to tradition, so to speak.

Although I suspect if real aliens exist, then CS Lewis's theory about them all being sinless is probably correct, though some of them could have experienced their own versions of the Eden incident and become sinful. This would also explain why the aliens that abduct people hate Jesus - Earth is basically the cosmic equivalent of North Korea under the dictatorship of Satan, who would only allow in evil sinful aliens.

In a nutshell, it claimed that the reason the us gov is hiding the tech is because it would basically make anarcho-frontierism a reality - but at the expense of encryption, which would be rendered useless. The average schmoe could just weld together their own ufo and become Han Solo, never paying taxes again. (There was also something about immensely-powerful WMDs being made possible....)

If by "government" they just mean some system or practice that enforces rules, then sickburnbro is correct. However, most of the time this term is used when referring to a singular monopolistic entity/corporation that creates and enforces "law", also known as a state.

I would also recommend distinguishing between natural law and man-made law - the former is good, and the latter is only good when it is based on natural law.
