Sim é possível, na blues Waller tu consegue fazer exatamente isso, pode usar também a electrum, mas a GUI dela é um pouco mais feia. Nos bitcoinheiros eles têm tutoriais disso, bluewallet airgap, só seguir o que tá lá que é sucesso.

Apple App Store poderia, com a mesma justificativa, banir qualquer app de coordenação entre indivíduos (mensagens, rede social) - todos se enquadrariam perfeitamente.
