Am I doing this right? #bluesky
My mistake! Are there more Indian folks on Nostr? Which OS platforms do they typically use?
👋🏼 You’re the first Hindi(?)-speaking person I’ve seen on Nostr within my network. Welcome!
Looks like an issue with LibreTranslate. DeepL doesn’t have this problem. More translation service options coming soon to Damus! Hopefully at least more than one of them won’t have these types of issues.
Is Amethyst following this NIP-69 proposal for polls? Seems like it’s still in RFC and the author is in the process of addressing feedback. https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/320
I think that’s what I just proposed.
It can be smart about it. It can be number of reports by unique users. These are users that you follow, not randos. The limits are also be specified by the user. Moreover, it’s opt-in.
Damus just needs to be smarter showing information about reported notes and reported users from your follows N levels removed. Let the user make an informed choice. And perhaps have a setting that lets the client automatically hide notes or users if a specified minimum threshold of reports have been met.
So close to finishing Damus thread notification muting. Hellthreads begone. Gn!
Is this what managing relay.damus.io looks like?
#[2] all contributions are welcome! #[3] is our only Brazilian Portuguese translator at the moment. We also have Portuguese from Portugal, but unsure how different it is. I’ll DM you with instructions.
Never too late.
Out on TestFlight. Hopefully fewer NostrPlebs support tickets about spaces in NIP-05 identifiers, especially once it hits App Store.
Bitcoin Miami 2023 booked. See y’all there.
Oops. #[2]
I’m not a fan of substack (it’s more of the same), but this is weak.

“Free speech”
There’s a Damus GitHub issue on fixing consistent terminology from #[4] #[5] #[6] but I’ve been procrastinating on opening the pull request.
