Nice! What was the issue with my approach? I still don’t understand why it didn’t work.
I’ll look into it
Thanks for sharing! Looks like it’s a 2-minute walk from my office, so I have very few excuses not to go. I’ll try to make it!
We’re over 1000 pull requests from #damus contributors. Thanks for helping make damus awesome!

It’s been amazing collaborating with all the devs and non-devs on the Damus project and Nostr in general. Thanks for making this a great space!

Majority of my pull requests are just for importing translations from our incredible Damus translations team who unfortunately don’t get attributed in the Git commits because their work is done in Transifex. I’ll do another round of kudos for them soon!
Happy birthday to my amazing wife, #[0] !!! Have a zaptastic day!!❤️🎉🥳🍾
Yeah, we’re actually working on adding that in Damus.
#[0] added NFC to Damus for profile sharing! So cool nostr:note1pkahhe2trlzkph5whafgkcl26yh2hcaz07cmj40277y2wukucyhqstdc57
The social layer of GitHub still feels superior currently. Being able to comment on lines of code. But we’ll get there with Nostr.
Could we use this metadata to provide alternative text for the visually impaired? Or perhaps tag users on specific parts of static images?
People keep coming up to me on the street asking for help speaking Mandarin because I look (am) Chinese. Really want to help, but I speak only Cantonese. :(
All iPhones before 13 are terrible in battery health. My wife had 12 Pro. I have 13 Pro and she has 14 Pro now. The battery advancement after 12 is amazing and very noticeably improved. Time for an upgrade.
Because your phone is old or from a recent Damus update?
Translation on that note works for me on NoKYC and DeepL. Retries aren’t implemented so it’s possible that any network or connection blip could cause the translation request to fail, and then it perpetuates the failure due to caching. We could add a single retry to mitigate this kind of problem potentially.
