I’m only teasing. 🫂 Every place on earth has its own local treasures.
I’ve always been profoundly fascinated by the power of words.
Yes, actions are equally important and often have a greater and more noticeable impact on your life, but, as minor as may seem, words are the unsuspected pillars of deep, resilient human relationships. Words are what makes you feel truly understood, seen, met, cared for and cherished.
Many of us free speech advocates roll our eyes at that sometimes – in a “toughen up” and “millennials are too sensitive” type of way. But it’s not about being considerate and “nice”, it’s being more effective and choosing the course of growth that you share with someone else. It’s semantics until it has to do with a relationship that really matters to you.
I’m going back to Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg. It truly is a language of life. 🎁

Beginner’s mind is a great start. Actually putting in the time and effort to learn and trying out different ways is what ultimately improves your quality of life.
If there’s an area of your life that leaves you wanting more, ask yourself when was the last time you read a book on that topic.

Thank you, I’m in. Excited to learn more!
Please do share more. 🙏🏻
I’ve been intrigued by how many bitcoiners are carnivores. It could also be that those individuals are just more verbose about their diet because it is still the most unpopular…
I periodically go down many nutrition research (as deeply flawed as it is by design and funding directions) rabbit holes. It’s rather clear what is “good” for our metabolic health (quality meats, fats, real, nutrient and polyphenol-dense foods, restricted eating windows, etc.) and what is bad for us (high-glycemic foods, precessed and fake food) but where the partiality gets confusing for me is I don’t know that, in terms of percentages of macros, there’s any one size fits all.
>70% meat? 70% fats 20% protein? A Mediterranean diet with at least half your plate full of vegetables?
So far, that seems to depend heavily on ethnic background, and the woman factor changes the percentages a lot ( for fertility etc.) and is understudied. Our individual epigenetics dictate a significant part of that. Any papers you have come across that challenge/dive into that?
Basically, provided that all the bad food is out of the picture, it’s Ciao population medicine, hello precision medicine. Your body knows best (not just general feeling and symptoms but ideally with some continuous monitoring).
What a mind! Thank you for sharing. 🫂🧡
Don’t worry about being “too good”. Harshness and coldness will take care of themselves in life. Be the place of warmth, space and tenderness. ✨
Love a book that says it like it is. #bookstr #growstr #parentstr
I used to skip through non-fiction books looking for the most information-dense chapters and paragraphs, thinking I’m being more efficient. Now I know to only read an author if I admire them and/or their work.
That way, reading every line in the book, forward, appendices, fluff and all, becomes spending time with someone I admire in some way. Then I want the small talk, the deep talk, the thought provocation, the anecdotes, the tangents, the personal touch, the slightly irrelevant and the seemingly absurd. It’s like grabbing a coffee with them, not once, not twice, but daily if I wanted to.
I don’t want the slides, I want the time. You pick what to apply to your life and how but regardless, once the book is read, now you think a little bit more like the author. That stays with you. It’s less about lessons to apply and more about letting your mind be slowly shaped and pulled in a direction of your choosing.

Every now and then, you find the kind of book that meets you exactly where are on some aspect of your development and it gives you every bit of guidance you could wish for on a particular topic.
I sat with this all evening long and came out feeling empowered and grounded. Great read!

All of you hopeless romantics out there, don’t give up on love. One day, you will find someone who turns any space and time and context into an infinite, eternal heaven for your soul. Someone who will know you better than yourself and will not get enough of learning about you, someone who lights up the whole world in your eyes and never ceases to inspire you. The search is miserable until, suddenly and for a long time, life is marvelous.
Love is out there. Keep on pursuing. ♥️ #lovestr
I hope he wakes up right as rain tomorrow! 🌄 ✨
We’ve just watched this… Powerful! Thank you for sharing, it is inspiring.
