A few months ago I gave talk in which I talked about what life is like under Monetary Authoritarianism

I mentioned how I used to pay salaries for my company's employees in 2011:

Flying to US, buying iPhones, glueing them to my body, selling them for pesos.

Rinse and repeat every month.

Well, Milei just made it legal to pay salaries in anything, including bitcoin.

Yeah, of course, you could already use bitcoin for this because bitcoin DGAF, but the fact you can do this legally is useful for those that find themselves still tied to that system.

Politicians can go fuck themselves, but it's worthwhile noticing when some freedom-restrictions are removed.

ETFS ARE SIMPLY CUSTODIAL WALLETS BUILT FOR SUITS

My point is that nobody will buy shares of the ETFs, and so the ETFs won't be loading up on very much spot Bitcoin. The investment banks behind these ETFs are only talking about seeding them with a small $10 million or so.

There are two types of investors:

1. People who understand Bitcoin, and they will buy actual Bitcoin and not the ETF where they pay a fee to a fund manager.

2. People who don't understand Bitcoin, think it's too volatile, just a scam, etc., and they're not going to buy a Bitcoin ETF because they don't think it's a sound investment.

A handful of ignorant retail investors will gamble on the ETF, or options on the ETF, trying to capture the alpha, but they won't move the needle much and a lot of them will end up selling at a loss because that's what most retail traders do.

So what I've been watching play out on Shitter recently is that the largest BSV bag holders have been pushing a very aggressive misinfo campaign recently claiming that CSW is all but guaranteed to win the COPA v. Wright case that is set for next month and that as a result all the exchanges will delist BTC and replace it with BSV.

Entirely absurd and so I don't really feel sorry for anyone who is stupid enough to believe it.

The truth is they are very afraid that this case will put an end to CSW's claims of being Satoshi and so they are desperately trying to get people to buy BSV right now and pump their bags so they can get out.

The number of Shitter posts from this group has increased significantly over the past two weeks. They are preying on the ignorant.

Some serious shenanigans going on here. This will end badly for all the people who got duped into buying this shit recently. I almost feel bad for them. Almost.
