Minimizing outside input has direct economic benefits for the individual. Designing the system is the barrier of entry and why most ppl stick to buying feed and chemical AG.

Ppl sleeping on azolla π―. In the Philippines they go hard on azolla production for their animals and for fertilizer. It's a hack that is slowly being implemented in LATAM. In Colombia they are starting to use it for cattle.
