Elon or someone said you praised twitter as freedom technology. I wondered why you didn't mention nostr.
Ordinal is (or can be) like collecting coins minted at a specific time amd/or place. It has genuine rarity that NFTs on smart contracts don't have. Also ordinals do not need decorative arts to be or look valuable, as people already are willing to pay old coins.
Right? Wrong?
So we dont yet have a winner for a large group chat or a semi-public social network. In the web2, we have various different apps like discord, slack, telegram, facebook group, subreddit, etc.
People tended to use different apps for public and private group. I think nostr can address public and keet private.
What we dont have is semi-public, if that makes sense. A public-like experiences but only for some segment of people. Curious what can fill this role, mastodon, nostr, keet or another app optimized for this.
Maybe the current structure has its own value. The problem is it is fuzzy whether nostr is for global cimmunication and relays are only for censorship resistance, or for siloed communication.
If siloed, how will it differ from mastodon? I have never used it.
Why do relays disconnect? I see frequent changes of connected relays.
