Looking back at that and how social media effects the humanrace in the here and now (2025), regardless if you use social media that is being build on a centralized or decentralized tech stack, it is quite depressing to notice what it has achieved thusfar.

Because of social media most humans actually become less social (always in there phone), get a fake sense of importance and inflated ego’s when they achieve to attract a lot of social media followers and many humans would not mind to use the influence they build up on various (toxic) social media networks to indoctrinate the children on our planet with their personal unhealed traumas..

I hope many will get to their senses and start their detox journey from what’s going on in the world of social media and the internet and get in touch with nature a lot more.

And make sure that they use they internet.. don’t let the internet use them.

I think it is reasonable to see a change in how this non-exclusive royalty-free license is being executed currently within the use of non-fungible tokens to store I.P. rights.

And inherently benefit the Bitcoin ecosystem itself.

I do understand all Nostr clients need to protect their legal entities from copyright infringement claims and csam etc.

At the same time the TOS can be used against the users of the Nostr clients that use Nostr build at some point which would be a catastrophic event for all users of the protocol.

A few suggestions to look at:

- A standard or a optional choice to have your images, videos and or audio files automatically deleted after a certain period of time.

- Utilising Bitcoin DeFi open source protocols like Ordinals or BitVM (still in development) for non fungible tokens that can inherently hold I.P. rights. Inscriptions are a great example for a image standard that could be implemented with several clients which could help a lot in regards to tracking, trading or licensing these rights.

Think outside the box!

It will help Nostr.build on the longterm with minimising its responsibilities in regards with I.P. rights and driving adoption for ownership of content.

Building a content strategy for anyone that is willing to use Nostr while the media uploader behind these client has the legal rights sell, duplicate etc. all their content creations will just not fit with what Nostr actually stands for in my humble opinion.
