Yeah, I followed some of the tool and gardening groups, even though the garden groups were full of “oMg ItS iNvAsIvE!” And they all went black for this blackout thing so now it’s pretty pointless. Or they’ve gone NSFW and all the OF girls are spamming their videos. Not that I’m super mad, but when I go to a tool group I’m looking for tool porn, not boobs.

You get my drift though, right? I’ve heard that saying my whole life. I’ve wasted time trying to figure out who and when decided that these words were bad. The Christians point to the Bible but the only thing it specifically says is bad is using the Lord’s name in vain, which really only matters to you if you are a Christian. Others stutter and stumble and finally spit out “well they always have been” as though English has always been language since humanity existed and it’s not just some random noises linked together that we use to communicate. Used to get told all the time that “ain’t” and “y’all” weren’t words so I shouldn’t use them, but hell even the Yankees are using “y’all” now so I’m pretty sure it’s a word just like any other. In general, people who assume those of us that use certain words are somehow lacking in vocabulary end up being pretentious pricks (not saying you are per se that’s just been my past experience with those offended by my choice of words).

Maybe it’s an indication we don’t give a fuck? Lol

Why do you feel superior because you don’t use certain sounds that’s someone somewhere at some point in time that no one knows decides they were “bad” words?

Woo boy, last couple days have been a blur. Me and tater spent 8 hours on Friday working on that deck ramp, talked a bunch of shit, especially when he hung his toolbelt up and then wound up being cut man. Then Saturday I went to help my father in law with the bathroom floor in their rental house, that’s was an adventure. House was built in the 50’s so there ain’t much akin to a flat spot in the whole house, but we got it passable and moved on to the living room area where there’s a huge hump that’s causing the snap together vinyl planks to break. That’s gonna be it’s own adventure. Today I’ve got some mint plants to put in dirt if I can ever get my youngin to take a nap.

Wish I could sleep like that. She slept on the couch with me last night, and when I had to get up and start getting dressed she started moving around, so I set her on the boot with her horsey and a blanket under her legs and then my blanket over her, draped over the edge of the couch. 5 mins later she’s on top of her blanket and pulled my blanket over her head.
